Louis Original Drive In Restaurant

A little pricey, but worth every penny...

Went here with my significant other and found the atmosphere to be rather pleasing for a dinner date. We did not have to wait for a table and the service was amazing. I must say the lasagna was the best I have had in some time and I look forward to eating at this Knoxville landmark establishment in the very near future.

It's super slow but otherwise perfect. There's loads of garlic and butter on the bread sticks, food is super hot and smells great however somehow they managed to get rid of the overwhelming tomato/garlic odor most Italian restaurants have. Bathrooms were clean and fully stocked as well.While everything here is kid friendly I've almost never seen kids here and it's very quiet without harsh lighting. If you can get past the ugliness of the outside of the building and surrounding areas (it's old, to be expected) this would be a great spot for dates or just some quiet time somewhere different.
